Our Story
After moving to the UK from South Africa in 2020, Ryan founded Gutterbugs the following year with a simple mission: to bring homeowners a genuinely professional, honest and reliable exterior cleaning service — built on the kind of straightforward hard work he grew up with.
What started as a one-man operation has grown into a family business, with Ryan's dad Richard joining the team. Together, they bring energy, experience and a real passion for the job to every property they visit.
In our first few years, we have cleaned over 3,000 homes across the region. Every one of those jobs has been approached with the same care and attention to detail — whether it's a bungalow gutter clear or a large roof cleaning project.
As a family business, our reputation means everything to us. That's why we always go the extra mile, communicate clearly with our customers, and stand behind every job we do.

Founder & Lead Operative
Ryan founded Gutterbugs in 2021 after moving over from South Africa the year before. He leads every job personally and treats every property as if it were his own. If something isn't right, he'll come back and fix it. That's the standard.
Richard
Co-Operative & Ryan's Dad
Richard is Ryan's dad and has been with him since day one of the business. He has an eye for cleanliness and won't let a job leave half-finished. If there's a streak on a gutter or a missed patch on a fascia, he'll spot it before anyone else does.
